ACCHSH at Print’05 Fair

2005-10-03

Print’05 fair, held in Chicago from 9th to 15th of September, was the biggest exhibition event for printing industry in 2005. The Polish company ACCHSH was among more than 900 fair exhibitors and among 6 companies exhibiting under “drupa innovation parc on tour” umbrella. The software manufacturer from Poland focused mainly on the latest version of its PuzzleFlow workflow system, equipped with RIP and JDF Gate modules.

A common exhibition under “drupa innovation parc on tour” brand-name follows the show started at last year’s Drupa fair. There was a special pavilion built at drupa 2004 and app. 40 vendors of innovative prepress, workflow and software vendors showed their products at the exhibition. The ACCHSH company was one of them, promoting a new version of the PuzzleFlow system. A few months later the workflow was developed with RIP and JDF Gate modules. The new version was demonstrated and promoted at Print’05 fair.

The “drupa innovation parc on tour” exhibition in Chicago gathered only six original participants of the Düsseldorf “parc”. Taking it into consideration, our participation is even more valuable. We appeared in a very exclusive group of the companies which – according to the original project – planned a world-wide tour through all important printing exhibitions. The next “stops” will be held at Ipex and All in Print China fair next year – Andrzej Czyz, partner at ACCHSH company underlines.

ACCHSH Company was also presented in a special “The JDF Roadmap” leaflet released by the organizers. There were all important manufacturers of JDF-enabled products showed in the map. Andrzej Czyz says: We are very glad that our innovative PuzzleFlow system has been noticed by Print’05 organizers. Our software was equipped with a module enabling JDF integration a year ago, just after drupa 2004. This time we have had an opportunity to promote it in the USA. Many visitors have found us thanks to the map so we are extremely happy of that appearance.

During a one week event the “drupa innovation parc on tour” stand was visited by thousands of guests. The ACCHSH representatives also took their opportunity to meet current and possible partners, dealers and customers. We had many interesting meetings and conversations and hopefully some of them will be transformed into distribution and OEM agreements, as well as new license contracts for PuzzleFlow system – Andrzej Czyz says. – We are looking forward to many new contacts in the US, the South and Latin Americas and in Australia.

At the ACCHSH stand new PuzzleFlow functions and modules were demonstrated by the company’s representatives. One of the topics, which attracted a big attention, was a dispersed production, based on a remote communication between PuzzleFlow-equipped servers. Tomasz Drazek, PuzzleFlow Project Manager says: A dispersed production, based on the JMF open protocol communication, means new opportunities for workflow systems. On its basis we will implement a new load balancing module in the PuzzleFlow system. It means that our customers won’t even know where a job will be produced – PuzzleFlow will take care of that, optimizing servers loading and minimizing the time needed for data transmission. During the fair demonstrations a complicated trapping operation was transferred to the computer placed in our Cracow’s office. After a few seconds we received back the processed files ready for imaging.

We made the next important step in expanding knowledge about ACCHSH products – Andrzej Czyz says, concluding the company’s participation in Print’05 fair. – In 2006 we will make the next steps in Birmingham and in Shanghai, during Ipex and All in Print China exhibitions.
