Viscom ColorInLab During the exhibition ColorInLab promoted many products from its vendors’ portfolio, including ACCHSH’s PuzzleFlow workflow system and the PuzzleFlow Framework solution with Color Management module. In a version presented at the booth, the solution was implemented with ColorLogic’s Colipri Devicelinker, creating an ink saving server. Juan Martorell, CEO of ColorInLab, says: Viscom-Sign trade fair in Madrid are focused on large format digital printing, mainly using inkjet technology. That’s why we observed a big interest in printing equipment for this business area, as well as software used in all production processes. Many people visiting our booth were very interested in consulting services regarding color management and RIP upgrades. The co-operation between ACCHSH and ColorInLab was started approx. a year ago and – according to Juan Martorell – it has already brought fruitful results: We have successfully implemented PuzzleFlow-based solutions in several Spanish companies representing various market segments. We are very glad about it and – as ACCHSH’s products are still newcomers to our market – we see a great potential for PuzzleFlow products in our country. Digital printing house Mores of Oviedo, employing approx. 150 people, is one of the first Spanish users of PuzzleFlow system. In a daily production it uses PuzzleFlow Basic system with Color Management and Imposition modules which enable production of PDF documents for all output devices working in the company. A similar configuration of PuzzleFlow was installed at the Madrid-based large format printer Fragma Espacios. The 75-people company uses PuzzleFlow for generating PDF files used in all printing equipment. Another Madrid-based company, Consuldis publicity agency, uses PuzzleFlow Framework with Color Management and Transparency Flattener modules which handle 100% of its production. They create one master PDF file which is optimized and color managed for various printing presses working in different technologies. Currently ColorInLab is installing PuzzleFlow-based solutions at another Spanish customers, including digital printers and photographic laboratories. Andrzej Czyz, partner at ACCHSH, says: We are very glad about results of the first year of our co-operation with ColorInLab, covering a very interesting Spanish market. We hope that thanks to the company’s participation at Viscom-Sing 2007, the PuzzleFlow-based solutions will become more familiar for many companies from this country. And we are looking forward to the next fruitful years of co-operation with our Spanish partner. ~More information about:~ *Andrzej Czyz, ACCHSH* Ul.
