PuzzleFlow at Printing Confrontations ConferenceWarsaw – July 1st, 2008 The Polish-based ACCHSH company, producer of the highly advanced PuzzleFlow system and PuzzleFlow-based solutions, was one of the sponsors of the 13. “Printing Confrontations” conference, organized by the Graduates Association of Warsaw Technical University’s Printing Institute on June 26. Andrzej Czyz, CEO of ACCHSH, was one of the speakers, presenting the latest version of the PuzzleFlow Framework system, shown for the first time at the Drupa 2008 fair. The ACCHSH’s presentation was strictly connected with the conference’s title: After drupa 2008 – automation of printing production processes. Andrzej Czyz began his speech with a short historical description of his company, mentioning year 2000 and the establishment of ACCHSH together with his business partner, Marcin Streszewski. Soon we made the first ever workflow system completely based on native PDF files – Andrzej Czyz said. – Our efforts were honoured during the Seybold Conference in 2003 where we received the Hot Picks Award. Currently the PuzzleFlow system, awarded with the Golden Medal of the Poligrafia International Printing Fair held in Poznan (Poland) last year, is being successfully used by more than 900 customers world-wide. In Poland ACCHSH sold approx. 400 licenses of this software, 250 of which drive CtP systems (it has over 50% market share of the CtP systems in Poland). Currently ACCHSH sells 2/3 of PuzzleFlow licenses outside of Poland, 90% of installations are implemented by numerous sales partners of the company. ACCHSH also signed several important OEM agreements. On this basis, the selected PuzzleFlow modules were integrated with workflows of such vendors as Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, Founder Electronics, UNIDOCS Inc. and Pressteligence. Andrzej Czyz shortly described the latest version of PuzzleFlow Framework system, which officially debuted at the recently held drupa 2008 fair. Its premiere confirms the changes in the ACCHSH’s strategy which is now based on creating solutions devoted to different printing industry areas, even according to special customer’s needs, and offering them as a service, not a ready product. Today we can offer advanced solutions for CtP, digital printing, PoD and Web2Print markets – Andrzej Czyz said. – All of them enable the highest possible level of processes automation with a minimum involvement of interested parties. The basis of our activities today is: PuzzleFlow Express, a combination of preflighting tool and job distribution system, PuzzleFlow Solutions – complex production solutions created accordingly with the users’ needs, JMF/JDF interface allowing for integration with MIS system and 24/7 help desk for our customers. Finally Andrzej Czyz demonstrated several solutions from ACCHSH’s partners offer that, he said, will revolutionise printing, publishing and media markets soon. One of the examples were Digital Rights Management (DRM) tools from UNIDOCS company, devoted for press publishers world-wide. When we talk about processes automation today, we still mean streamlining the typical printing production – Andrzej Czyz said. – However very soon final usage of a digital file in a traditional offset prepress technology won’t be so important. The more important matter will be how a file will be processed in crossmedia systems, enabling its automatic use in digital, personalized technologies of documents publication. The role of the Internet and digital printing will increase very rapidly, basically changing our approach to a traditional prepress. Press release by: More information about: |
