Place-It is a manual imposition tool allowng for the free placement of pages on sheets. Such a way of doing imposition allows for the imposition of different page sizes on a press sheet or labels in CtP systems, and for the optimization of the layout of documents on imagesetters or large-format plotters. The program enables you to change the orientation of documents and frame them as well so as to cut excess margins and graduate documents. The document layout editor can automatically arrange and repeat pages, so that the surface of a sheet or plate can be optimally used. It may import and use layout patterns imported from CAD applications in CFF2 format, perfect for imposition of packaging work. The program supports PDF files, documents defined by Adobe PJTF and bitmaps saved in TIFF, JPEG, EPS and DCS formats. Prepared sheets can be saved as finished PDF files, PJTF or JDF formats. |
